The Economist Educational Foundation – The Built Environment
The Ove Arup Foundation has recently announced a second grant to the Economist Educational Foundation. The project is delivered in conjunction with Arup Community Engagement.
This project will enable 10,000 young people to join high-quality, expert-led discussions about the built environment. We will create two teaching resources which will be created by our team of specialist teachers with the support of editors, fact-checkers and subject specialists at The Economist. These will be published during the 2022-23 school year and provided to teachers across the world for free.
The resources will be designed for 9- to 15-year-olds on topics that matter to the Ove Arup Foundation. Topics will be identified that allow students to have inspiring discussions and debates around the built environment, these will be relevant and topical by linking the topics to a current news story.
